Education
We all need to go through some level of diving education to give us our passport to the underwater world. Once you’ve had some experience in your dive career, you get to realise that not all instruction facilities are the same and quality of courses can vary considerably from one place to the next.
As Instructors ourselves we keep a close eye on all the resorts and dive centres we work with to ensure you have peace of mind wherever you choose to take a course that it will be up to standard.
There are many training organisations across the world, in the Philippines the vast majority of dive centres and resorts offer recreational diving courses from Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and Scuba Schools International (SSI).
However, there are certain dive centres we work with that excel at dive training and are PADI Instructor Development Centres or SSI Diamond Instructor Training Resort as minimum, meaning they are able to teach up to Instructor level. It’s not the fact the dive centres are PADI or SSI affiliated, but it’s the quality of the Instructors employed at these facilities that’s important, you will have peace of mind in taking a course in any one of the dive centres listed below, whether you are taking a your first breaths underwater on a Discover Scuba or becoming an Instructor.
British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) does not operate in the Philippines, however all dive centres and Resorts will recognise the qualification if you are a BSAC qualified diver and wish to go recreational diving. As always, you will need to demonstrate your level of qualification by presenting your certification card prior to diving.
